One of the biggest hurdles for an info-preneur is that he/she has spent a lot of time trying to create a product that is valuable, but cannot get the customers in front of it to buy it. Keep on reading to find out some tips for finding customers.

The first thing that you need to be aware of in the info-business is that your customers are not going to come to you without some serious effort on your part. There are thousands of other products out there in thousands of other niches and only so many customer dollars to go around.

Therefore, in order to sell some serious products, you are going to need to do some serious marketing. Provided that you are selling a product that people want, it is highly recommended that you familiarize yourself with copywriting.

You need to develop a consistent marketing message for your information product and then deliver that message across many different platforms. You can start by writing articles on the topic of your e-book. Then you can deliver a few podcasts on the same topic. Finally, you could create a promotional video with valuable content. All 3 sources will promote the same marketing message, just delivered in different media. This will capture more people for your product. Each customer likes to digest marketing material in different ways. Some people hate to read, while some people only like audio etc.

The next thing that you need to consider is frequency. You need to make sure that you e-book is promoted often. You can't just write two articles and assume that you are finished. Marketing and gaining new customers is a constant process. You should spend at least 25% of your time promoting your products to new prospects.

Once you have started with the basics, you can use social media to generate buzz about your product and to keep the conversation going. When a customer can find out more about the person that they are buying from, it brings up a higher level confidence and trust. Social media also allows the customer direct access to the business owner, where he/she can answer questions about the product, instead of just hiding behind a sales letter anonymously. Again, this also helps lower that wall of skepticism.

People are tired of being taken advantage of and customers today are some of the most schrude buyers ever. They have done their homework. They have made sure you are worthy of their money, and if you do your job, they will buy tons of your information products.
