We are benefited by having our content picked up by Google. For many of us it simply feeds our sense of accomplishment, but for others there is also great monetary value. It is essential to your search engine optimization (SEO) that you are targeting your related keywords to go along with the more extensive category keywords. This helps Google serve the best and most distinctive results to their users when keywords are typed in, and they love it!

Along with its search for keywords Google will also determine the relationship between them, other keywords, and synonyms on your pages. Google looks at your inbound and your outbound links for relevancy to your content. Keep in mind that along with the keywords Google looks for quality content.

So getting Google's attention is your main goal. This means in order for the Googlebots to see the main point of your content you need to show that it relates to your categories as well as your long tail keywords. You want to gain visitors searching for any other related keywords or synonyms that you are not necessarily targeting. Long tailed keywords describe a less competitive niche instead of more competitive broad keywords and within the categories.

Understand that the race to understanding Google logic is very important for any internet business. You want to get listed and ranked higher and faster in the search pages. You want to have the Googlebots qualify precisely what your website content is about by searching the content for synonyms based on your website's keywords. To do this we want to send the Googlebots on a specific path that shows them your site's theme and how your content should be construed.

This requires a unique and structured linking throughout your website. It is complicated and time consuming to do; building this structure and keeping it going each time you add content to your site. So you can do it manually, but most marketers find the WordPress Silo Plugin by Dan Raines extremely helpful and your structure can be done with less difficulty.

Your quality content will need to be created on a regular basis; several times per week. Proper SEO also entails having backlinks to your site from other relevant websites. Google appreciates it when other relevant websites with authority are linked to your content and this can aid in your being listed quicker on the internet. A valuable method of gaining this attention from Google is through Article Marketing through directories like Squidoo.com, EzineArticles.com, Hubpages.com, and Goarticles.com. Placing your articles with Traffic Bug is also great for getting the interest of other article directories and these tactics grab the attention of the Googlebots.

Most of the article directories will allow you to promote your website or blog links in a resource block at the end and some will also allow links within your content which can boost your page ranking with Google. Be sure to read the "Terms of Service" so as not to lose your privileges.

Google is constantly changing; trying new methods to keep quality content to better serve their users. We have gone from page ranking, to having the best content, and now synonyms related to your keywords. It is hard for even the best marketers to keep up but we love this job, so stay with it.
