An EBook is a portable form of publishing your work and making it available to the Internet users across the world. Writing an electronic book for the first time is a challenging but not an impossible task. It might appear to you a mammoth task for the first time but you can handle it by dividing the process of writing an EBook into manageable chunks.

For writing your content in the form of a digital book, it is essential to select the right kind of equipments or software. A person should keep a few factors in mind while writing an electronic book. The first factor to consider is to establish the reason of writing a digital book. There can be many reasons such as for promoting one's work, financial gain, imparting education, etc. The reason leaves an impact on the process of writing and creating digital book. The next step is to select your target audience who might show interest in reading your work. Then you can select the subject of interest. The subject should be unique and interesting to the target audiences. You can keep the interest of the target audience in your mind while writing on a subject. For instance, you are an author of fiction stories and want to publish your literary piece of work online. While writing a fiction story you can certainly exercise your creativity and imagination but also keep a fiction reader's interest in mind. It is essential to give a mind-gripping title to your work. This is instrumental in instantly grabbing the attention of the target audience. A well-constructed title is always interwoven with the content. In the main body you can discuss the subject, give opinion on the subject and an example or reason supporting your subject.

Create a document in a standard application such as Word file that offers flexible features to customize the content. Then choose the format of the electronic book such as EXE or PDF. EXE is an executable file format which can be compiled by using an EBook compiler. It does not require any software to be read. However, it is susceptible to viruses and PDF file format is not prone to virus. PDF can be encrypted and easily accessed across multiple platforms.
