If you are just getting started in the world of e-books, this article will give you a few excellent directions in which to start. Information products are sweeping the nation by storm, because of how easy it is to get started making money quickly. Read on to find 5 popular niches for 2010.

Here are 5 popular e-book niches for the year 2010:

1. Debt management- It seems like everyone and their mother is in trouble with debt due to the economy. With foreclosures on the rise, jobs at a premium, and people with debt up to their eyeballs, this can be a great category. If you have a home remedy for getting rid of debt, or you are a debt removal professional this can be a really profitable category for this year.

2. Going green- Since we have a finite supply of natural resources, more and more people are looking for alternative sources of energy. Perhaps you know of a way to turn a gasoline powered car into an electric car. Maybe you know of 101 ways to make money through recycling. Green is a new fad that is here to stay for the next foreseeable future.

3. Making money- Again, people have no jobs and huge amounts of debt. They are desperately looking for ways that they can earn a living from home, or using their skills from previous employment. If you have a novel solution for a great way that people can make a few extra buck from home, you could make a killing. This niche is not going anywhere, but very competitive, so do your homework before you start.

4. Popularity- With all of the reality TV shows portraying stars as everyday people, customers want to be just like them. People want to be popular. They want to be liked by others. If you can think of a niche where you can show people how to gain confidence, make more friends, or even throw a party, you could be really on to something.

5. Motivation- This goes hand-in-hand with making money. People are naturally lazy. They want ways to make their lives easier, but they also want to get themselves out of the situation they are currently in. If you can show them how to stay motivated to achieve what they want in life, you can develop a rabid audience that just can't wait for more. Everyone wants success, sometimes they just need a little kickstart to get going.
