In this article we'll explore the most important reasons why you can create your ebook with total peace of mind.

Whether you are a professional writer, a business owner or simply love writing, you should be publishing your ebook.

Let's consider the following... All things being created equally, the effort you need to put into any given project is exactly the same for a book than for publishing an ebook. You have to research, write, correct, retype, etc. You get the point.

In the traditional book publishing process, your work may get rejected about 50 or 60 times by different publishers and agents before finally being accepted, if ever being published at all.

Even if a publisher decides to go ahead and publish your work, the whole process-- printers, shippers, wholesalers, distributors, marketers, booksellers, can take up to two years before your book sees the public light.

Imagine going through all that charade, invest your time, blood sweat and tears, only to find out that your book may be impossible to get published or it might take forever before it finds a place in the retail book store shelves. Not so with an ebook.

Even in case you want to try first your luck with a book publisher, you have total peace of mind because you control your work from start to end knowing that it can always be published as an ebook so all your efforts won't be in vain.

Tip: If you are going to have you book published, and in order to avoid future misunderstandings, try to include a clause in the publishing contract specifying that you remain the solely owner of the electronic rights of your work. This means, you can publish your ebook at will. Always let your lawyer review your contract. Better safe than sorry.

Although this will be the subject for a more in depth future article, in case you absolutely need to have you work published on paper, nowadays you have Print-on-Demand outlets. This option offers a terrific "bang for your buck" because you can always control how many books are going to be printed-think storage, and normally these printers also create an ebook version of your work.

However, make sure you have your selling process down or you may end up with some boxes of unsold books in you garage or cellar.

In closing... Ever feared of being rejected by a publisher? Well obstacle number 1 is off: You cannot get rejected.

Additional benefit: You won't have to wait to see your work published because you have your own schedule. So go ahead and start working on publishing your ebook today.
