Real work at home jobs are difficult to come by. The reality is companies are not looking to hire people to work from the comfort of their own home except in certain instances. The secret of real work at home jobs is knowing where to find them, or how to create one of your own.

First of all let's talk about where you could find real work at home jobs. You need to understand that finding these types of jobs is no different than applying for a job out in the marketplace.

Companies will hire people if they have specific skills that fill a need they have. Unfortunately many people do not understand this basic concept.

They think since they want to work at home that a company would be willing to hire them. However this is just not true.

You can go to websites like Monster.com and begin to research potential employers. Oftentimes they will let you work out of your home or a least be home-based in the work you do. This is common for professions such as outside salespeople.

Another website that offers real work at home jobs is TJobs.com. This website brings together employers and employees who want to telecommute.

Telecommuting means that you work from the comfort of your own home for companies willing to hire you. You could be on a salary, an hourly rate, or a commission based pay period. However many companies today will pay you to work at home and even offer benefits such as vacation pay, sick pay, and health insurance.

The other secret is learning how to work at home by creating a job for yourself. There are people all over the world right now that will pay you to do things for them that they do not have time to do.

Examples of this include building a website for someone, starting a blog, creating an article writing campaign, designing graphics for websites and blogs, posting comments in forums, and many more things.

If you are willing to work at home there are people who will pay you on a commission basis to do these sorts of things for them. In reality you are working for yourself and can turn your skills into a work at home business too.

In summary the secret of real work at home jobs is to have skills that someone will pay you to do. Whether you do this working for someone else, or by providing a service that you turn into a home business, you still get to work from the comfort of your own home.
