4- I want WWWHelper to build my Web Site. What is the procedure ?
For a quick overview take a look at our Slide Show to see how WWWHelper can help you get a Web Site on the Internet.
1- Please review our small business design packages and decide if any of the pre-configured Web page design packages meet your requirements.
2- Order the Web page design package you desire or call us Toll Free at 1-800-460-2361 or Email us about your intention.
3- Request our web design check list, which has a list of questions about your web site design plans. From the answers to these questions we will obtain the information necessary to build your web site.
4- Then send us the text, information, and other materials such as images, logo ,etc., for all your web pages. If for example your business is about selling products, prepare the description of each product and some pictures of them and if your business is about providing any kind of services then prepare the text and information for such services. Think of it as if you were preparing a catalog or brochure, what would you put on them and how beautiful you want them to look?
Please note that all text that you prepare should be in ASCII format ( plain text ) and all image files in .jpg or .gif formats and should be sent to us preferably by email. If it is not possible for you to type the text or prepare the image file of any pictures then send us the hard copies by mail. In such a case we scan your pictures on our flatbed scanners and make image files out of them. Similarly we will type your hard copy text into ASCII format for a reasonable fee. Note: Copies of your company brochures and or catalog are particularly helpful for us in laying out your pages.
5- After receiving and reviewing your material, we inform you by phone and/or email as soon as possible and provide an estimate of the cost and the time it takes to build your site. We immediately start working on your project. Please note that if the cost estimate of your Web Site Design project is $ 300 or more, approximately one half of the cost is required in advance and the rest when we show you the complete project. And if the cost is less than $ 300 then all of it is required in advance which you may send us as a check along (unless you purchased online using your credit card) with your other Web Site material.
6- Once the initial design is completed your new front page will then be placed in a temporary Internet address for your review. You will be able to adjust the page layout and overall design at this time. Then this design will be extended to the rest of your pages as the sites overall theme. As the creation of each of the pages is completed they also will be uploaded to the temporary Internet address for your review. These uploads will normally be at the end of the day for the work completed that day. After all the pages are completed you need to compile a final "punch list" of all your corrections, adjustments etc. and send them to the WWWHelper for final modification. Once these changes are completed your Web Site will be moved to it's permanent Internet address. Your new Web Site is now complete.
7- Please review WWWHelper's hosting and other services such as Domain name registration, Web Site Updates and maintenance and let us know if we can do every thing for you as a complete project.
8- If after reviewing all the material in WWWHelper's Site you still have questions please do not hesitate to Email us right away. And remember to bookmark our Web address.

6- What do you include in MY Web pages that you build ?
It all depends on the complexity of your Web Site. You decide about the items and we include them into your Web pages. Mostly, items like text describing your products or services, corporate logos, main menu, tables, feedback, comments/suggestions or order forms, email links, navigational link bars, hyper links, images, animation, short sound or video clips, search engines, Java or any thing else that you specify and fits your requirements and budgets. Please note that a web page is the equivalent of a 8 1/2' X 11" page when printed.

7- What about my own pictures that I want to include in my web pages ?
Just send us the pictures. We scan them on our flatbed scanners (for additional pictures, above those allotted with your web design package plan, we charge a reasonable fee) and make image files out of them and insert the images into your web pages. You can also email us any image files ( .jpg or .gif ) that you have already made from scanning your own pictures. (for additional pictures, above those allotted with your web design package plan, we charge a reasonable handling fee) Please note that image scanning is also a separate service that we provide for people who are making their own Web pages. 8- Will my Web Site look the same in different browsers ?
We are currently testing every page of your Web Site with the Internet Explorer 5.0 and Netscape Navigator 4.7 to make sure they look the same and as beautiful in each browser. If you require your page to be optimized for a specific browser please notify us. Additionally, all pages are designed to the Internet standard screen size of 800 X 600 dpi. If you require your pages to be designed to a screen size greater than 800 X 600 please notify us. Please note that we do not recommend designing pages to screen resolutions lower than 800 X 600.

9- Can I see what my site looks like as it's being designed?
Yes, we will let you view your Web pages on a temporary Site before it is published to your permanent web address so that you may see what it looks like and make any changes if necessary. Normally, we design the front page and get your approval, so that the site wide theme for all the other pages can be established. Then during the process of completing all the other pages, we will upload that days work to this temporary web address. This will allow you to follow along with the design process. During this period we ask that you do not contact us for typo's and minor changes. At the end of the design process we will ask you to submit a "punch list" of typo's and minor corrections, if any, for final correction.

10- What is the difference between Virtual Domain and non-Domain accounts ?
With Virtual Domain account you will have your own Domain Name address such as:
"http://www.your-name.com" and "http://your-name.com"
While in non-domain accounts the address of your Web Site is like:
There is, however, no difference in functionality. People who want to visit your pages have to use the address to your Web Site the same way. The other differences are in pricing, registering with InterNIC and the time it takes to register when you have a Virtual Domain account. In contrast non-Domain accounts are available as soon as we setup your account and no registration with InterNIC is required.

11- Does my Domain Name have to be registered ?
Yes. It has to be registered with Network Solutions, or one of the many other domain name registrars, only if you have a Virtual Domain account like (www.yourname.com). We will do the registration service for you for a $25 fee (or for free if you host with us). In addition to our fee for this service you have to pay $70 (currently) to Network Solutions (less with other registrars) for your first two years and $35 for each year thereafter.
Note: If you host your domain with us we will assist you with the registration for free. If you have a non-Domain account no registration is required and thus no fees.
If you are hosting with one of our "http://your-name.wwwhelper.net" virtual domains you will not have to register your domain name. A savings of up to $70.

12- How long does it take to register a domain name ?
Upon opening your Virtual Domain account with us, we will submit your Domain Name application to InterNIC and give you a temporary address to host your pages until your permanent address is ready. The time it takes before we hear from InterNIC for the approval of your permanent address varies from time to time. Usually from 3 to 7 days which is out of our control.
