Now that this Whats Happening program has been online for a couple of weeks, it is about time I tell you what this web site is all about.

For the last 10 plus years this web site was about providing web design, hosting and php and mysql programming services to any and all commers including sole propritors and Mom and Pop businesses. Those services are still all available through my Web Services channel or category. However, starting this year I made a business decision to morph into a consultant and provider of resources, including learning, services and products that all have a purpose which are still focused for small one or two person (read Mom and Pop) online businesses. Especially, those considering starting or who have just started to run their online business.

The web site you see now is "in transition" and has a limited amount of resources available as of this writing. This will change over time as I continue to add resources.

Here is a summary of what resources are already available:

Training Center:
The Training Center is where you will find articles and reviews helpful to aspiring small business owners.

Articles Discussing Specific Business Niches: If you are considering going into one of these niche businesses you may find the appropriate article to be of interest to you. More will be added as time goes on. You may also suggest a new article be written on a specific business niche if you don't see what you are interested in.

Articles For How To Start An Online Business: This series of articles is intended to give you a general road map for how to go from the "I have decided to Start An Online Business" through picking your business niche, getting started and how to run your online presence once you have started.

Web Development And Promotion Articles: These articles are for techinques, methods or tactics for building and maintaing your web site and various low or no cost methods for promoting your online business web site. You may also suggest a new article be written on a specific web development and promotion technique if you don't see what you are looking for.

Reviewed Services For Small Businesses: This series of articles cover's specific services or products that I have either used myself or assisted a client in their use.  I will only list services or products that I found to be helpful or useful. When you are ready for these services check them out. I believe you will find these to be some of the best solutions in their niches. In the future I may add an entirely seperate article category with reviews of products or services I don't recommend or have found problems with.  If you would like to suggest a specific product or service for me to review, you and suggest one to me for consideration.

Resource Center:
The Resource Center is where you will find numerous products, tools or services available from around the web all with the purpose of helping you start and run your online business. Here again I have done the work of searching out and consolidating these resources in one location for you.

Building An Online or Offline Business Resource Center:
This category provides information for helping you to learn more about different types of online and offline businesses. Mostly they are ebooks with step by step procedures for starting your niche business. Some provide software that you can use to run your business once started. I have also included businesses that are more suited for the offline or the real world. But in this day and age even brick and mortor centric businesses will benefit from an online presence.

Small Business Web Site Management Resources:
Once you have decided to start your niche business these resources will assist you in setting up and maintaining your web site. Some of these resources turn over to you an already designed web site and all you have to do is install it on the internet and start promoting your business.

Online Marketing Tools, Courses, eBooks, White Papers and Software:
After you have your web site created and up on the internet you will need help getting the word out that you even exist. This category provides information and resources that will assist you in marketing your web site.

Coaching And Mentoring Services:
The resource category "Coaching And Mentoring Services," is intended to bring together the aspiring small business person(s) with experienced mentoring and coaching service providers.
