I just added a new article about using Podcasts to make it easier to learn how to start and run a small online business.
A little background. When Tech TV was on back in the late 90's I spent more time watching that TV network than any others. I especially enjoyed Leo Laporte. I was saddened when they turned it into a video game network and then shortly thereafter into a "I don't Know" network when Al Gore bought the network. There has been nothing like it since on TV. Other than occasional articles on Fox Business Channel or CNBC and then it is usually a little 2 or 3 minute spot by the Wall Street Journal.
Of course, in my opinion, that is not nearly enough. Then a few years ago I started subscribing to Podcasts and found there were literally thousands out there. So with my trusty iPod I can now go shopping at Walmart, or while driving, listen to all kinds of shows that discuss only those things of interest to a small online business. I am turning what would otherwise be dead or wasted time into productive learning time.
So today I can still listen to the best online Tech Guy, Leo Laporte, as often as I want. He now has several Podcast shows available from several web sites. If you would like to listen to one of his shows you can start at LeoVille.com which seems to be his hub web site for his telecommunications empire.
If you would like to learn more about how and why I use this as one and primary method of keeping up to date with small business trends and practices then read the article.
