Dragon Naturally Speaking Voice Recognition Software

Click Here For Dragon Naturally Speaking Voice Recognition SoftwareDragon Naturally Speaking 9 is a speech recognition software program that makes it easy to talk to your computer and dictate to it. It recognizes your speech patterns and is compatible with most if not all computer applications. It adds a dragon bar to your existing text editing software which can be used to vary the controls and add words. You can adjust the software to the speed with which you speak. It's like dictating to your personal secretary. It is designed to work with five English dialects which include UK English, US English, Australian English, Indian English and South-East Asian English.

You can create your letters e-mails, reports and other documents just by speaking to your computer. It takes some time for the software to adapt to a person's personal voice and punctuation but it learns pretty fast, once you correct your mistakes and adds words that the software doesn't know it gets better and better as you use it. You can create voice commands to switch between programs and other tasks, The voice command feature also works well when you can command your computer to open your web browser etc.

It can even read out your text to you with a text-to speech function. I have found this feature to be especially useful for reading ebooks. I can tell the program to read the ebook to me allowing me to multi-task and do other things while listening. I use this same technique when I listen in the background to podcasts or audio books.

There are other advanced features like formatting text with the built in commands. If your work involves a lot of text typing this is definitely the product for you. It can increase the pace of your work.

My out of box experience was so good that I am willing to continue working with the application. Using Dragon Naturally Speaking voice recognition software, along with Microsoft Word is what allows me to capture hand written ideas and notes that I have gathered throughout the day. At a convenient time I gather up all these random ideas/notes then dictate them to my computer and in the process I expand on these notes with the full idea or concept. Once I have all these ideas down on my computer I can begin to organize them into whatever writing project I am working on.

Some people use it to write entire articles or even books solely by dictation. I am not that well organized to use it for that purpose. But I can say it is certainly nice to type less.
