Custom WebSite Content Management System

Custom CMS WebSite System

Just arrive on Site? You might want to start here:

One of the more common questions I get is about owning the source code. If you order one of my premade WebSite Content Management Systems you will not have access to the source code. If you think it is essential that you own the source code you have two options:

  1. Purchase the source code (currently $75,000.00) or,
  2. Have me create a custom version just for you to include only those features or others that you would like to have.

Actually, this would be far less expensive than purchasing the source code. Depending on how many features you want I would estimate a Content Management System web site with the below features could be built for less than $10,000.00.

Basic Features:

  • Website built around the common website templates allowing you to keep web design elements away from your content.
  • Website Control Panel to allow you to manage the content on all pages on your website.
  • Add unlimited new website pages/edit/delete via the Website Control Panel.
  • Create unlimited Sub Categories with unlimited web pages within each category.
  • All pages created with the Website Control Panel will be real pages and not dynamic link pages. Your web pages will all have their own unique file name such as:
    http://Some_Domain.com/Category_Name/Program_Name.html

And will not have a dynamic URL like:
    http://Some_Domain.com/file_name.asp?ID=141&Name=About
  • You will be able to edit each pages Title tag, meta description tag and meta keywords tag. This feature alone will be worth the cost of creating your site in saved search engine optimization dollars.

A good reason to opt for a custom solution is in the future you will be able to either hire me or some other PHP programmer to upgrade your website's capabilities because you will own the code and have the right and flexibility to modify or add whatever you want to your site's capabilities.

Another really important reason is you will be able to take your code wherever you want and host it on any other web server you want. As long as that server runs PHP 4.4 or later, MySQL server 4.1 or later, Apache Web Server and access to modify the Apache server directives for your web space. Now these features are common to most virtual unix hosting plans. The prototype for this program, and this website, runs on an Apache web server obtained from ApacheFriends.org running on my Windows XP computer.
