What do I mean by "Deployment Strategies For Building And Growing A WebSite Destination"? If you are considering building an online business or a website for an off line brick and mortar business then you MUST have a strategy.
What I am going to say is based on my 12 plus years experience as an internet consultant and web programmer. Of the about 300 sites I did for individuals only one has really made it. That is not good odds by anyone's standards. I will and have built cloned website creation programs for entrepreneurs who may resell clones of those sites to others, but I no longer sell those clone sites to the individual hopeful online millionaire myself. I want to share in their success and not their defeat.
This brings me to the most important first step for succeeding with an online business. Treat this project as a serious one. It should not be a whim because to truly succeed with an online presence is to be there for the long term. Like success in the real world, success in the online world is built over time. For the regular person there is no such thing as overnight success.
Another problem I have seen is people jump in and build a lot of web pages quickly then trail off to nothing. The best strategy is to overtime build your website so that it grows in a natural way. Search engines know when a website jumps from 5 pages to 50 pages between the last time their crawler visited and their current crawl. Believe me they are programmed to smell a rat when sites are growing unnaturally fast.

I would enjoy it financially if you jumped right in and bought the most powerful version, and most expensive, I have. But I would personally prefer it if you started with the most basic version first and got your website started growing. Then later after you know you have chosen a niche that people are interested in and you can provide for them, then upgrade to a more powerful version which will, of course, include more features. This way if you fail you will not have wasted a lot of money and time and to be honest with you I would prefer it if you did not waste my time. I would rather you succeeded.
