Custom WebSite Content Management System

Why Use A Content Managed CMS WebSite?

Step 1: (Just Arrive? Start here)

Today, more than ever, a web site owner is dependant on being listed in the major search engines. Namely, Google, Yahoo, MSN and a few second tier search engines such as ASK and AOL. Most of todays search engines are designed to index the content of your website. Meaning the words you have on your pages.

Despite how the search engines index your pages today, most of todays search engine marketing techniques are designed to manipulate or trick the Search Engines into giving your site higher listings. As the Search Engines are constantly revising their formulas for determining page standings the attempt to trick the Search Engines is, at best, a short term solution. But in the long run it is a no win situation. You are constantly having to try the newest technique to trick the Search Engines. Then the very same day a major search engine revises their formula your site traffic takes a serious nose dive. And you are then scrambling to find out what is the current "Hot" technique to trick the Search Engines. What a vicious cycle you find yourself in!

I have found that the best way to be indexed highly in the Search Engines is to give them what they want with no manipulations or attempts to trick them. Search Engines want and need only one thing "words" to put into their databases. The more words you provide the more they like it. If your site has a lot of words (content) focused into a narrow niche of interest your web site will naturally rise, as in a natural way, to be one of the top ranking sites in that niche.

However, it is not enough to fill your web site pages with blah! blah! blah! Or meaningful unrelated content. It has to be meaningful content that is related to the topic or niche you are marketing. And once a human arrives on your site they will find it readable (understandable) and relevant to their interests. Once you have done that your visitor will stop and look around. Remember the number one reason people use the internet is to look for information. If you provide plenty of information you will have plenty of interested visitors. And you will keep your visitors who will take the time to look around. Even bookmark your site for future return visits.

If you take this technique to it's ultimate you will have developed a community with a devoted group of interested visitors. The ultimate goal for any website is to become a destination. One that people look forward to returning to. After all why else develop a website. If your only goal is to sell something then use ebay or a Yahoo Store or one of the many other sell only sites. If you want to grow your business then build a destination.

Remember the top three reasons Search Engines and web visitors (read clients) will like your web site is 1. content!, 2. content! and 3. content!

These principals can be applied to marketing any type of product or opportunity. From apples to Zebras (if you know anyone selling Zebra's).

Enter the Content Managed CMS WebSite.

With this system you can add as many pages as you want as often as you want. In turn you can edit your pages anytime as well. By keeping your content up to date, your website will stay relevant and become the destination du jour for whatever your niche is. A side bonus with this system is that all you need to do is be connected to the internet to manage your website. If you are like me and like to travel this is just the program for you. You can go to any Cyber cafe, friends house or wherever and manage your website.

Bottom line, the easier it is for you to update and manage your website the more likely you are to do so. In turn the more likely your site is to become a relevant resource for whatever niche you wish to dominate.
